Buchlaesque modular in progress |
 |
|
Here some pictures of my Buchlaesque modular in progress.
The cabinet is done, only need to install the PSU and power distribution wiring.
I had some panels printed and I'm doing the drilling myself. I'm very pleased with the results.
Here is a shot of the finished cabinet with the panels installed to see how it looks
And a close up of the panels...
I guess now it's time to start soldering the modules... _________________ www.ecalpemos.nl Last edited by beautyofdecay_ on Fri Oct 28, 2011 1:48 pm; edited 2 times in total |

Thanks guys.
A wrote a more detailed page on my website about the cabinet with some more pictures: http://www.ecalpemos.nl/sdiy/buchlaesque-modular/the-cabinet/
I'll update the Buchla section of my website with a dedicated page for every module...
I designed the panels in FPD and had them printed by a local Dutch company specialised in printing on Aluminum.
The panels are 2mm thick anodized Aluminum. The artwork is printed in the open structure of the anodizing layer of the Aluminum. After printing the panels are heated and the top layer is sealed during this process. This results in scratch resist artwork. _________________ www.ecalpemos.nl |

Very good to see - and your modular has grown quite a bit since I last saw pics of it.
Just a pity I couldn't get to see you in London earlier this year: you'd come half way around the world, and I couldn't manage 150 miles.
It's so wonderful to see such a good DIY synth, but it must be a least twice as cool to make such great music with it. You have my total respect for this!
I do hope you can do another world tour. I'll try harder next time. _________________ Mike |

Looks great! where do you get those small knobs? They seem nice for the CV pots on my e350 too.
Picture of my system after I added some knobs, finally:

Heheh!
Thanks SubG. It's a Klee Sequencer. If you don't know it, check it out! It's electro-musics own sequencer, and it rocks! _________________ Weblog! |

Nice one SubG, is that the SOST and Tau behind that panel?
If so, I'd be interested in a panel BTW! _________________ http://loudestwarning.tumblr.com/ |
