So how about just grabbing a bunch of things from the wishlist and have people vote That is, if they want to. _________________ Jan

I like the idea as well, but who's gonna decide what we put on the list and what not? |

Oh, if you need a volonteer ... but first someone has to start a selection I guess and then we can order it. _________________ Jan

And we can also add categories like "Editor features wish list" or "In synth features wish list" etc.

And we make a clear distinction between bug fixes and new feature requests, and be very specific about each of these (I can imagine there will be quite some delay-related issues). I think it will be good to have a list of both. _________________ Spinning at ~0.0000115740740741 Hz |

Happy to join this discussion but due to me being a late adopter, i will probably have little to add. A couple of immediate and i am sure obvious thoughts:
1. Poly Seq (like the mono one) + poly note send to go with.
2. A switchable Unison mode which piles all four(or 8 with exp) dsps on top of each other.

Audio/Delay: I'd like a wavetable, and/or large RAM with addressable contents. Ideally, 1 module for a RAM table, and multiple modules for accessing the same RAM contents (good grains, wavetables, pitch shifting, etc).
MIDI: Support for NRPN I/O, pitchbend I/O, and a module that accesses both knob & button.
MIXER: XY mixer (joystick like panning).
OSC: Phase Distortion, if possible.
LFO: Chaos? I thought someone saw one hidden in the editor's resources once. |

1. muteless patch loading - lock specific slots down (or groups of slots) - user definable (so tnot all dsps get rebooted whenever another patch is loaded / dsp reboots) and save-able per performance.
2. pattern memories for all sequencers
3. variation exclusion
4. clock based envelopes.
5. poly sequencer with pattern memories
6. pitch bend out and NRPN
7. Sysex Out |

Sorry. | Don't be; my remark wasn't meant to tell you it was mentioned before, but more to initiate discussion about how we would want it to work. Bring on the brilliant ideas _________________ Spinning at ~0.0000115740740741 Hz |

I like 1, 2 and 4. Muteless patch loading would help out live performances a great deal. I think 4 would be awesome, to have clock based envelopes would be just amazing.
Does anyone think any new Oscillator modules would be nice such as a
Super Saw/Pulse or just redundant? Or perhaps a Dual Osc module with built in sync options with dedicated traditional cross modulation features? |

8. Reduced sample rate delay lines (aka longer delay lines)
9. Building blocks (more templates than init1 and init2)
10. customizable module defaults (let the user set or reset the default knob and buttons settings when adding new modules - a kind of init1 for modules)

I'd like to put that one a bit higher, at least the pitch bend part.

You mean parameter level exclusion for the variator (as opposed to the module level that we have now) ? _________________ Jan

- Configurable Pitchstick dead zone (too sensible in many cases)
- Configurable velocity curve (I use the G2 as my main desktop keyboard controller).
- Independent values for pitchbend up and down (for example +2 and -24)
- Unison FX module (with 3 values: number of voices, freq detune, pan amplitude), meaning that using this module in the FX area would cast a configurable number of VA voices with different panning and detune levels on each keypress.
