Just finished the upper Drum box and this case to add to my original drum voices and pattern generators (in the lower section)
The new box includes the Thomas Henry MPS, Rich's Liquid Hi Hat, 2 Fritz AD/AR coupled with simple VCA's, two 4069 LFO's, Foniks VC Clock and VC Pattern Sequencer, and a simple mixer.
The Lower box is four Bass++ voices, two XOR gates, two 4 input R/2R ladders, 3 clocks, CGS pulse divider and some shift registers, counters and such.

Where did you get that case? I'm looking at rehousing mine. Left mine in the sun for a few minutes and it warped and melted

what a nice built
did you add a gate out for each step of the sequencer? _________________

so you are using the Mankato as a slew limiter, too? THAT is consistent! _________________

Two Yusynth VCAs Subject description: Just filled up another cabinet -- going to take a break (temporarily!)
Well, this module brings me to a milestone -- namely that I've now completed another complete row (the top cabinet).
I made a decision to use this as a "stopping point" (at least for now) and to once again focus on music-making rather than instrument building.
I love both of these activities and there is always an inner-battle between the desire to build and the desire to make music.
Of course -- there are plenty of things I want to tweak and a couple of functions I will be adding -- but probably not until next winter.
On this site I find support and guidance and I appreciate you all.
I enjoy this thread -- fun to see all the different designs and approaches to DIY -- as fun as it can be to walk through a musical instrument store -- to see original instruments with original designs is all the more fun and enlightening.

My first module Subject description: V8 Simulator
my first module: Ken Stone's V8 Simulator.
I added an extra switch for a much slower speed which gives a nice rhythm,
and a LED which acts as a speed monitor. The panel was already this color
(cut form a piece of 'scrap' metal) but I might do some labeling in the future.
I haven't checked the build thread for some time. Sometimes I think my addiction is pretty bad and I need professional help... then I see what you guys are doing! Some of you must have teams of engineers working for you! Either that or I seriously have to pull my finger out and work a lot harder. Well done everyone! This is really inspirational... or a big worry.
nice clean labortorial look.
what rotary switch you are using? seems to be quite small... _________________
